Tucked away in Maplewood, Timber Park may be small (just half an acre!)—but it’s packed with Fun.

Bring the kids to burn off some energy at the play area, shoot hoops on the half basketball court, or relax under the picnic shelter while enjoying the fresh air. There’s even a looped walking trail for a quick stroll and a sand volleyball court for some friendly competition.

Winter Parking Rules Go Into Effect November 1st

As the temperatures drop, so do the parking options! Both North St. Paul will soon begin enforcing their annual winter parking restrictions — so here’s what you need to know to avoid a ticket (or a tow).

In North St. Paul:
Parking is not allowed on any city streets or alleys between 1 AM and 7 AM from November 1 through March 31, whether it snows or not.
If snowfall reaches two inches or more, vehicles must also stay off the streets until plows have cleared the area curb to curb.

In Maplewood:
Parking is prohibited on all public streets between 2 AM and 6 AM all year-round, including throughout the winter months.

As the first flakes approach, it’s a good time to double-check where you park overnight — and help keep the streets safe and plow-ready for everyone! ❄️🚙

🎁 Visit or Donate to The Toy Shelf

Located at 2266 2nd Street North, North St. Paul, The Toy Shelf is a volunteer-run program bringing smiles to kids from birth to age 16. Families living in 55109, 55119, or 55128 can shop for free toys, games, and books this holiday season — no registration required.

🕓 Open: Tuesday–Thursday, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM
🎄 Holiday shopping: Nov 1 – Dec 18, 2025
📍 Bring a photo ID and proof of address

How to Donate:
Donations of new or gently used toys, games, and books are always appreciated (infant and teen gifts especially needed!). Drop off items during open hours, or contact the Toy Shelf to arrange a pickup.

🧥 Winter Coat Drive for Veterans

Now through November 30, American Legion Post 39 is collecting clean, serviceable coats for our Veterans.

📦 Drop-off: Inside the Legion Post 39 bar (box near the stage)
🧤 Needed: Men’s and women’s winter coats
💙 Coats are cleaned and distributed through the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV)

No Trunk N Treat this Weekend (that we know about in 55109).

However, we had an amazing season of Trunk N Treats, the turn outs were amazing!

Thank you to everyone who hosted them and participated.

Sometimes we all need the reminder — you matter.

Not just for what you do, but for who you are — a neighbor, a friend, a familiar face that makes our community stronger.

Maybe you held the door for someone at Kwik Trip, waved at a stranger on Margaret Street, or shared a smile at the coffee shop.

Those little things? They’re what make 55109 the kind of place we’re proud to call home.

So keep showing up, keep being kind, and keep being you.

Because this neighborhood wouldn’t be the same without you. 💛
